The best companies and the lucky executives that work for those companies have made the Audi A6 TDI the number one pick as the flagship company car. It seems that the combination of a great car and high resale or residual values that make company vehicle leases look so attractive on some vehicles a less attractive on other potential picks decided that German Diesel is the best choice.

Executive cars are chosen based on a lot of factor. They should turn some heads and make people believe the company is successful and hopefully impart an image of innovation and excitement. They are also an important perk to attract the highest caliber candidates for executive jobs within larger companies. It is not much of a perk if they offer up a car that is substantially below the standard the potential executive would choose for themselves (handing the new CEO the keys to Ford Fiesta along with congratulations for taking the job does not have the same impact apparently as a BMW or Audi).
